Cycling in Ropemakers Field

ropemakers fields park

The speed of some cyclists through Ropemakers Field park was a cause for local concern in the summer of 2018.

Council officers met with residents and local representatives to see the issue and have come up with a proposal to help mitigate the speed of fast bikes through the park, while not discouraging safe cyclists or park users with accessibility needs.

Please email any questions or comments to the email address within the proposal or fill in the form below. Cllr James King will collate these responses and present them as one to the relevant council officers before action is taken.
