James King was elected as councillor for Limehouse in May 2018 after years of Conservative neglect for the ward. Together with Mayor John Biggs, the priorities for Limehouse are:
•Work with residents to make a success of the Public Space Protection Order, push for extra police and support Limehouse Youth Hub.
•Stand up for the rights of residents against uncaring landlords.
•Oppose developments that threaten the density or character of the area
•Fight Brexit’s impact on our local economy and to protect the rights of EU citizens.
•Work with the Council to make our streets cleaner and to install new play equipment across the ward.
